Boise Comic Arts Festival
Have your spidey senses been tingling? Get your best cosplay together, and grab your favorite comics because Boise Comic Arts Festival is back!
Boise Comic Arts Festival (formerly Library Comic Con), is back and promises to inspire and delight with dozens of activities including art and cosplay contests, panels and workshops, over 80 vendors and exhibitors, and an artists’ alley featuring both local and internationally-recognized guest creators.
“We’re excited to celebrate the continued growth of this event by partnering with Jack’s Urban Meeting Place (JUMP)," said Josh Shapel, Library Events Coordinator. “With over 10,000 attendees last year, we simply outgrew our location."
The Comic Arts Festival is a "fun and safe haven for anyone with an appreciation for art, creativity, talent and individuality.” said Terry Blas, guest creator from Portland, OR. “It's a family friendly event that I have had the pleasure of exhibiting at every year since it began. As Boise is my hometown, it makes me proud that a show like this exists and that I can be part of it as an adult.”
