Celebrating Boise's Unique and Vibrant Neighborhoods

September is National Neighborhood Month and we’re celebrating the people and places that make Boise great.

National Night Out

Boise Celebrates Good Neighbors – All through the month of August, Boise residents have been nominating their neighbors for the City of Boise’s Good Neighbor Awards. Recipients will receive their awards at the Energize Boise Celebration on September 28.

Do you have a neighbor that makes a positive difference in your neighborhood? It’s not too late to nominate someone! Nominations will be accepted until August 31st.

Energize Boise Celebration – On September 28, come meet the Energize Our Neighborhoods team and learn how the city is working to engage neighbors and help transform neighborhoods.

Stay Social – The Energize Our Neighborhoods team put together some fun challenges to encourage community members to get out and meet their neighbors. Participate in one (or all) and remember to share your photos by using the hashtag #EnergizeBoise on Instagram or Twitter:

  • Sept. 1 - 23 | Kid's Art Contest
  • Sept. 9-15 | Healthy Communities
  • Sept. 16 - 22 | PARK(ing) Day
  • Sept. 23 - 30 | Community Involvement
