Imagination and Adventure Awaits at the Library!

Where will reading take you this summer?

The Boise Public Library wants to take you on a journey of adventure and imagination through their Summer Reading Program.

The 2018 Summer Reading program encourages readers of all ages to explore new genres or dive deeper into old favorites. Themes include: Adventure, Comics, Fantasy, History, Horror, Mystery, and Sci-Fi. Summer Reading Cards with interactive prompts and activities are available at any Boise Public Library location. Participants will earn a free book after completing 5 activities and be eligible for the Grand Prize drawings at the end of the program.

LEGO® Summer Challenge – Bown Crossing
June 6-July 25 (Wednesdays), 2-3 p.m.

STEM Mini Camps (Collister location)
June 5-29, 3-5 p.m.
Ages 8-12
A three-week series designed to grow STEM skills while having fun with 3D Design and Printing, Building and Coding Robots and Coding with Raspberry Pi©.

Boise Comic Arts Festival (BCAF) at JUMP
August 25-26, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Formerly Library Comic Con, BCAF inspires creators of all ages by creating opportunities for discovery and collaboration between local and international artists.
