Simplify Your Commute with the Elder Street Park & Ride
Commuting is a part of everyone's working life. For those who commute to and from downtown, we know it can be a hassle sometimes. That's why in 2017, the City partnered with CCDC, Treasure Valley Regional Transit and Boise State University to offer a free express shuttle service.
The Elder Street Park & Ride is a free shuttle service that runs from Elder Street, near Vista Ave. and the freeway, and takes riders into downtown.
How Can I Use It?
All you need to do is register online! It's completely free and no passes are required. Registering online not only registers your vehicle for free parking at the Elder Street lot, but it also helps us see how often the shuttle is being utilized. You can register quickly and easily here.
When Does the Shuttle Run?
The shuttle operates Monday - Friday from 6:50 - 9:05 a.m. in the morning, and 4:10 - 6:10 p.m. in the evening. Shuttles run every 45 minutes in the morning and every 60 minutes in the evening. If you missed your shuttle, don't worry! You can track the next ride using the live shuttle tracker in real time. You can see a full schedule and a list of stops here.
What If I Need to Leave Early?
If you need to get back to your car in the middle of the day, the City offers free taxi vouchers to take you back to your vehicle. Users can use a max of 3 vouchers per month.
If you have additional questions, or need some more information, contact the City of Boise.
